International Law in Oil and Gas
Given the significant expansion in the
petroleum sector and due to the increased demand on Legal
professionals to work in the Petroleum industry The
Ministry of Oil and Minerals (MOM) is
pleased to announce the availability of a number of
scholarship programs sponsored by CCC (Consolidated
Contractors Company) to fund candidates to earn their
masters degree program in International Law in the Oil and
Gas Industry.
Minimum Requirements:
* Must have
university degree from a recognized & reputed university
with a minimum of 80% or GPA 3.00 in any of the following
disciplines:
o
Law
o
Economics
o
Geology
o
Petroleum or Mining Engineering
o
Finance
*
Have a TOEFL score of 603 or 250 on the
computer based test. Applicants with slightly lower TOEFL
scores will have to commit to undergo intensive English
language training in Yemen.
*
Work experience in the energy/natural
resources industry is an advantage but not essential.
*
Age 22-30.
*
Commitment to travel abroad to complete a
Masters degree program in International Law in Oil and Gas
*
Students with strong language skills are
encouraged to apply. And those who are in a position to sit
for the TOEFL or IELTS are encouraged to do so.
*
Must have strong work and learning ethics.
